Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7 NIV
Beloved, now that you are aware of certain things that could hinder one’s prayer from getting God’s attention (as we have been discussing over the past few days), you should know that it is not enough to hear and have the head knowledge. What you now know should translate into obedience from the heart that will transform your life.
There must be the willingness now to seek the Lord, to seek Him with all your heart (to seek the Lord with your totality). You must be willing to act according to God’s instruction for your life and not turn a deaf ear. Ensure that your prayer has a sincere motive to receive an answer.
You cannot treat God as an option if you intend to find Him! He must be the first and all that you are seeking.
Above all, it is important to remember that time is not under your control. So, seek the Lord now that He is inviting you, call upon Him now because He is nearer than you could ever think or imagine. Turn to Him in absolute humility and with total obedience.
Now is the time that God can be found; therefore, do not delay!
