Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
1 Chronicle 16:8 NIV
Sometimes you feel you are nothing at all. You look at your life and all you can see are problems and emptiness. You see the failed relationships, health issues, or joblessness. You could have been married for years without a child, or you are eligible but you’re yet to be married. Yours could be some financial crisis, the inability to provide for your family, etc.
You could have these experiences now or even worse than those listed above. But, instead of looking at what you are yet to have (even if you are qualified) and seeing only the wrongs about your life. Beloved, focus on your blessings and get back on your feet.
There are many good things about you, count your blessings and name them one by one.
What you already have is on someone else’s prayer request and vice versa. While you can’t provide for your family, some do not have a family with all the wealth they possess. Unfortunately, money can not buy a family.
May I remind you again that only the living can complain about life.
Give praise to the Lord for what you have. If nothing, at least you have life. If you’re reading this, you probably have a phone and internet. There are so many things that are working quite well in your life, be grateful for that.
