“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
Matthew 6:28,30 NLT
God is not hindered in providing for you. He cares so wonderfully for the birds of the air to offer them food at the right time. He beautifully dressed the flowers in the field. Are you not worth a lot more than these?
The reality is that the size of your faith is inversely proportional to your worry. Worrying is inevitable when you fail to believe in God and His promises. With every tick of the clock, you multiply your fear and worry. Such a lifestyle is not meant for the children of God.
“If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think he will do for you? It’s just grass—one day, it’s alive, and someone throws it into a fire the next day. But God cares enough to make it beautiful. Surely He will do much more for you.
Your faith is so small!
“Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ That’s what those people who don’t know God are always worrying about. Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things.” – Matthew 6:30-32.
So, the question for you today is this: “Why do you have so little faith?”
