My brothers and sisters, God called you and chose you to be His. Do your best to live in a way that shows you really are God’s called and chosen people. If you do all this, you will never fall. And you will be given a very great welcome into the kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, a kingdom that never ends.

We see those who had gifts fit to make them the leaders and ornaments of their generation give the devil a hold over their lives by yielding to temptations. They surrender themselves to worthless pleasures and pursuits while the magnificent promise of God on their lives comes to naught, and their destiny close in melancholic failure.
May I please remind you that you are what you are today because the Lord chose you. Therefore, for you not to fall into the same error as such people, you must be diligent in making your calling sure – living the kind of life that shows that you are really God’s called and chosen vessel.
We are not here because there is any good in us. All these blessings are not based works. God called us and chose us to be His own. He knew we would not be able to live up to His standard in our ordinary lives. So, He looked on us in His mercy, favour, and grace. He has given us everything we need to live the kind of life that is acceptable before Him.
So, let us do our best, fully maximizing all the blessings that God has made available unto us, then we can be sure that we will never fall. And at the end, we will reign with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for eternity.
