Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:10 NIV
The One who instructs you to enlarge the place of your tent, because He is going to cause you to break forth on every side, is the Lord – The Faithful One. You can be sure that He would not ask you to build capacity in vain. He would not promise what He is unable to do. He is faithful and will bring every of His promises to pass.
You may be wondering how this is going to happen. Perhaps, you may want to hold back for fear of shame. Here is His words unto you: “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.” (v4a)
Remember, that the promises of Him whom you are called to hold unto is of the One who has compassion on you. The God who loves you, so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die in your place. These are words of your Redeemer. And they can be trusted.
“But God is rich in mercy, and he loved us very much. We were spiritually dead because of all we had done against him. But he gave us new life together with Christ. (You have been saved by God’s grace.)”
Ephesians 2:4-5 ERV
In His kindness, God shattered the chains of sin, showering us with His grace despite our shortcomings. However, God’s love not only rescued us but also raised us to new life, a testament to His unfathomable mercy. Also, God’s love is not a distant concept; it’s an active force, shaping our lives and molding us into His likeness.
“So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.”
Romans 8:31-32 TPT
God freely offered Jesus for our redemption. Also, He will not withhold any of His goodness from us. This shows how faithful He is to us. In the face of any accusation or adversity, we can find solace in the fact that God has already proven His steadfast allegiance. So, you can rest knowing that greater is He who is in you, greater is He who fights for you. He is the Faithful One.
