God’s Love: The Unfailing Anchor in a Failing World

God's Love: The Unfailing Anchor in a Failing World - Isaiah 49:15

So, the Lord answers, “Can a woman forget her own baby and not love the child she bore? Even if a mother should forget her child, I will never forget you.

Isaiah 49:15 GNT

With this kind of question in the heart of God, it does seem that the greatest bond among men which is the most difficult to break is that of a nursing mother and her child. Such kind of bond is very strong to the extent that even God took note of it. He is asking “can a woman forget her own baby”? How unfortunate is it to realise many so-called mothers are absconding from their children today. You would think that the love of a mother will constrain her.

So, if it is possible for a mother to forget her child then it seems there is no person that cannot be forgotten. It does not matter what kind of relationship was had. But God, who is great in love and compassion is telling us that even if a mother can forget her child, He will never forget us. He will not ignore our cry unto Him. God will not lock us out, as long as we are willing to turn to Him.

No matter how far you may have gone, you’re still very dear to the Lord. His compassion towards you is not minute. And all it takes to experience His unending love again is to start your journey back to Him. He is waiting to hear from you today. For He says. “…and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no, never, reject one of them who comes to Me].” (John 6:37)

In a world where relationships can be fragile and trust often undergoes testing, God’s promise of unwavering love shines as a beacon of hope. It’s a love that surpasses human understanding, a love that stands the test of time and circumstance. Open your heart to the love of God and allow Him to bring you out from the pit of death.

God saved me from going down to the place of death. Now I can enjoy life again.’ “God does all these things for people again and again. He wants them to be saved from death so that they can enjoy life.

Job 33:28=30 ERV

So, if you ever find yourself feeling forgotten or distant from God, remember this: He eagerly awaits your return. He stands ready to embrace you with open arms. His love knows no bounds, and His compassion is boundless. Do not hesitate to come to Him. Don’t run from God, run to Him. Besides, He is expectantly awaiting your return. He has promised not to forget you. His desire for you is that you enjoy life abundantly. Henceforth, take God up on His offer and run to Him. He will not cast you away.
