Why Commend Yourself When Approval is of God?
Many people measure their spirituality by what they do — praying, giving, reading, or attending church. But heaven’s approval isn’t based on what we think of ourselves.
Scripture reminds us, “It is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.”
True maturity begins when we stop grading ourselves and start allowing God to examine our hearts.
