Beloved, we are (even here and) now God’s children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be (hereafter), but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall (as God’s children) resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He (really) is.

As we have been seeing what Jesus has for those who have climbed the mountain with Him (His Beloved), there is a blessed assurance of a life of purity that gives birth to seeing God. This assurance is only promised to the children of God. Those who have submitted themselves to God. People whose hands and heart are clean (Psalm 24:3-4). This is because Our Father is pure Himself. Therefore, only the pure shall see God.
One of the ways the pure in heart will see God is His Word. His Word become illuminated to you through help of the Holy Spirit. There is a clarity that causes an open eye into the mind of God. An understanding that comes from meditating on the Word of God comes upon a believer with a pure heart. It is a release that is accompanied with having the mind of Christ. A child of God can harness the mind of Christ by actively beholding the beauty of His holiness.
Also, the perspective of a believer to situations and the things of God changes. This is another area of seeing God. We begin to see things the way He sees it. We go through life with the assurance of victory because we have seen God arise in our stead. The reason people will wonder why a child of God will not be fazed is because he has seen God. Situations of life will never shake such a believer. Even if he is walking on turbulent waters, he is unshaken because his eyes is on the Father.
Yet, the most important blessing is the hope of seeing Jesus at His appearing. This hope will only transcend to the end of time if a believer maintains his life of purity in God. The way we live here and now determines our seeing Him in the end. These blessings and many more are attached to this life of purity.
And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless).
