Irrespective of what the storm life has been bringing your way. Perhaps the situation has been so unfriendly and there seems to be no peace anymore, I announce a new era in your life from this moment! The Lord of peace shall give you peace from now onward. There shall be no delay – peace is coming now.
This peace is not some image or shadow. It is sourced from the Lord of Peace Himself. It doesn’t depend on pacts or bargains among men. But, is the very nature and character and being of God. Not the kind produced by the stifling and suppression of activities and energies, but one in which all activities and energies are perfected and harmonized.
One of the characteristics of the believer is never-ending peace. It is the blessedness of The Spirit of God in the man that believes. Jesus was with His disciples when a boisterous storm arose. Jesus simply woke up and calmed the storm. Unlike the disciples, there was no panic in Jesus. There was a constant spring of peace. This is what we have received.
We have peace not like those in the world. But, one from above. One that remains and doesn’t leave. It abides because its source is God’s Spirit in us. Just as Jesus trusted in the Father’s ability to keep Him, so also should we. He is an example of peace like a river. He showed us so that we can also do it.
The Lord shall give you peace always, not just for a specific period of your life but always. May you have this peace with God—peace in your conscience—peace with others, and always, and in everything, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
