God’s Tender Care: Unrushed, Personal, and Always Present

Your righteousness is unmovable, just like the mighty mountains. Your judgments are as full of wisdom as the oceans are full of water. Your tender care and kindness leave no one forgotten, not a man or even a mouse.

Psalms‬ ‭36‬:‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Psalm 36 reminds us of God’s limitless love, great faithfulness, and unshakable righteousness. His care for us is described as tender care, a love that is gentle, compassionate, and filled with warmth. God does not offer detached or cold care, nor does He merely perform a duty without connection or affection. God’s care is personal, intentional, and always rooted in His deep love for us.

What is Tender Care?

Tender care is the kind of care that goes beyond meeting needs; it is affectionate and attentive. It involves kindness, patience, and a deep sense of concern for our emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. This is the heart of the God we serve—one who sees us, loves us, and cares for us with great tenderness.

Likewise, God does not overlook anyone in His tender care. Even when we may feel insignificant, God’s attention to us is unwavering. So, this line emphasises: “Your tender care and kindness leave no one forgotten, not a man or even a mouse.” Whether we feel worthy or not, God’s care extends to all, from the smallest creature to the most overlooked individual.

God’s Care for All People

Meanwhile, God does not limit His tender care to believers alone. His love reaches everyone, even those who may be far from Him. Consider the story of Saul, who persecuted Christians. Jesus identified with the suffering of His people, and when He appeared to Saul, He said: “Why are you persecuting me?” (Acts 9:4). Jesus identified with the pain of His followers, but He also showed tender care to Saul. Rather than condemning him, Jesus reached out to save him. This is the depth of God’s love—no one is beyond His reach.

In conclusion, God’s tender care and cherishing love are the foundation of our relationship with Him. His care is not distant or detached; it is deeply personal and attentive. He forgets no one; and cherishes everyone. Understanding this profound love allows us to live in confidence, knowing that we are always under His watchful eye and within the shelter of His wings.

So, let this be a reminder: God’s love for you is not limited by circumstance, sin, or status. He cares for you tenderly, and His love for you is lavish, extravagant, and limitless. Embrace this love and live in the light of His constant care.
