God’s Grace: Overcoming Temporary Suffering

God's Grace: Overcoming Temporary Suffering - 1 Peter 5:10

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.

1 Peter 5:10 AMPC

Beloved, what suffering are you going through right now? May I bring to your notice the fact that it is only temporary. No matter how great or insignificant it may seem, the Word of God says it would last only a little while. Your breakthrough is coming shortly. God will come to your rescue, and He will help you. He will make everything right. God’s grace is massive and it transcends all situations.

He is the God of all grace, very kind, and generous. He has chosen you in Christ Jesus and His plan for you is indeed a great one – the plan to prosper you. You can completely rest on this plan knowing fully well that it will not fail. Though you may not yet see it. You may not understand what and how He is working in your life. Do not despair; you only need to trust Him completely. God’s grace empowers us to overcome challenges and emerge stronger, more steadfast in faith.

In the end, He will make you perfect, put you together and help you stand firm on your feet. He will restore, strengthen, and establish you. And you will live with Him for eternity. So, stand firm in the face of adversity, knowing that you have the power of Christ within you. God’s grace is sufficient.

I would like to encourage you today, to focus on God and His promises for you, even in the midst of the storms of life. Always remember how He has helped you in the past. No matter what life throws at you, remember that life can only throw things at the living. Therefore, there is always a reason to rejoice. Let us embrace the challenges of life, trusting that God will see us through and bring us to victory.
