Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19 AMPC
Behold, a new thing unfolds! Can you not perceive it? The Israelites held the remembrance of their liberation from Egypt and the journey to the Promised Land close to their hearts. These historical milestones resonated deeply, serving as a beacon of inspiration. Their spiritual leaders consistently turned to these monumental events, using them to illustrate and validate God’s immense greatness, power, goodness, and love.
Meanwhile, introduced in Isaiah 43:18, God invites us into a new dawn. “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” (Isaiah 43:18 NIV). So, in penitence and prayer, we cast our gaze beyond the familiar. Do not dwell on past echoes or the haunting voices of unending cycles. Dismiss the idea of predetermined fate; the old fades, making way for the unprecedented. A resounding promise emerges—behold, a new thing awaits!
The Lord is ushering a new thing into your life in Jesus’ name. A fresh chapter of experiences unfolds, promising lasting peace, favour, joy, and unending grace and mercy.
You won’t remain ignorant of His work; gratitude will flourish. You won’t take His blessings for granted. Even in life’s wilderness, paths are opening for you in Jesus’ name. The long-awaited doors of breakthrough and progress swing wide open, and you step into them with an increasing measure of grace.
Rivers of fresh waters shall flow in whatever ‘desert’ you’re in; quenching your thirst, satisfying your hunger. Abundant provision is yours.
As you wait expectantly on the Lord to be your daily strength, utilising your troubles for His glory, may His timely deliverance come.
May all your dormant potentials are revived and reinstated. The good work the Lord has begun in you will reach completion, and you will fully achieve all He has in store for you, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
