All you people who are thirsty, come! Here is water for you to drink. Don’t worry if you have no money. Come, eat and drink until you are full! You don’t need money. The milk and wine are free.
Isaiah 55:1 ERV
If your thirst would ever be satisfied, it is important first to acknowledge that you’re thirsty. For it is when one acknowledges his sickness that he seeks the help of a doctor. Here, in the Lord Jesus Christ, is a spring of water that will never dry. So, come to Him today, and acknowledge your need so that you can be satisfied.
When our master was on earth, He associated with the outcasts. They were the ones that needed and received His healing touch. He received sinners and brought joy to them. Zacchaeus was a sinner until Jesus come into his abode. He not only repented, but he also made things right. Our Lord doesn’t neglect anyone who calls unto Him for salvation.
There is no reason to hide from the saving grace of the Lord. He came for the worst and the best of us. Man in himself is a helpless being, but He is our source of help. When you hear His call, don’t hesitate to come to Him. For He said: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 KJV)
Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.
John 7: 37-38 AMPC
So, don’t hesitate! Come and have your fill of eternal life that springs from Him. Come, as ‘poor and needy’ as you are, no need to make up any false riches, come in your lowliness and humility. You shall find sufficiency and satisfaction for your soul in Jesus’ name.
