Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!
Luke 12:32 AMPC
Imagine the terror that must have gripped the Israelites at the Red Sea. The Egyptian army roared in pursuit, escape seemingly impossible. Even Moses, burdened with God’s promise, grappled with his own faith and the desperate pleas of his people. Meanwhile, Luke 12:32 rings out like a clarion call: “Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear…your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!”
Do you, like the Israelites, stand at a crossroads? Do challenges loom large, threatening to swallow hope whole? Take heart, dear reader, for your Father delights in granting victory over every obstacle. The kingdom is yours, and though the path may be shrouded in mist, trust that this is not the end of your story. His will is to give you the Kingdom, and His power is greater than any problem.
The Apostle Paul, in 2 Corinthians 1:8-10, recounts his own harrowing ordeal in Asia. Trials so severe they “crushed us beyond our ability to endure” plunged him and his companions into despair, a whisper of death clinging to their hearts.
Brothers and sisters, you need to know about the severe trials we experienced while we were in western Turkey. All of the hardships we passed through crushed us beyond our ability to endure, and we were so completely overwhelmed that we were about to give up entirely. It felt like we had a death sentence written upon our hearts, and we still feel it to this day. It has taught us to lose all faith in ourselves and to place all of our trust in the God who raises the dead. He has rescued us from terrifying encounters with death. And now we fasten our hopes on him to continue to deliver us from death yet again
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 TPT
Meanwhile, amidst the suffocating darkness, a beacon of hope flickered: surrender all faith in yourself and embrace the omnipotent God who raises the dead. If God can raise the dead, is anything too difficult for Him? Of course not. The One who conquered death can deliver you from your challenges. He has done it before, and He can do it again.
He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us.
2 Corinthians 1:10 NIV
Herein lies the crux of hope: God desires you to relinquish self-reliance and embrace His unwavering power. You must lose all faith in yourself and place your trust in Him. The grave cannot stand against Him, nor can your seemingly challenging situation.
Therefore, banish fear from your heart. Embrace God’s unwavering promise of victory. Lean on His strength, not your own, and watch His will unfold, granting you the kingdom He desires you to inherit. The Red Sea may seem vast, the enemy insurmountable, but remember, your Father’s good pleasure rests upon you. Walk forward, not in fear, but in the steadfast assurance of His unfailing victory.
