All you people who are thirsty, come! Here is water for you to drink. Don’t worry if you have no money. Come, eat and drink until you are full! You don’t need money. The milk and wine are free.
Isaiah 55:1 ERV
To quench your thirst and feel satisfied, you must first acknowledge that you are thirsty. It is when one acknowledges his sickness that he seeks the help of a doctor.
The Lord Jesus Christ offers a never-ending spring of water that will satisfy you. Come to Him today and recognize your need in order to be satisfied. Come, as poor and needy as you are, no need to make up any false riches, come in your lowliness and humility.
When Jesus was speaking to the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4, He made her realize that there is a living water that is indwelling in a man’s body when he has encountered the living water Himself which is Jesus. This is only possible when you present yourself for a drink.
The call is for ‘all you people who are thirsty’, including you. There’s no discrimination, no prejudice of any sort in Christ Jesus. He is calling out to all who are thirsty, so, anyone who acknowledges this need may come and find satisfaction.
Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!
Matthew 5:6 AMPC
You shall find sufficiency and satisfaction for your soul in Jesus’ name.
