In His Time: Trusting in God’s Perfect Plan

In His Time: Trusting in God's
Perfect Plan - Ecclesiastes 3:1

Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 GNT

Nothing happens by chance, or by coincidence. There’s a divine arrangement in which everything has a predetermined time for it to come into existence and the duration for which it will continue to maintain the same.

The providence of God disposes and arranges every detail of man’s life. There’s not a moment or an event in the life of any human being that caught God unaware. He is the author of time; He has every detail of it under His watch. There is no disordered mixture of things with Him – no wild confusion.

One amazing trait about God is that He is a detailed God. He is the one who sets and dictates the order of things. In His divine knowledge, he set the elements of the earth in order before forming man. Although, God is not a being subjected to the influence of time, yet He put it in place for us. He placed it for us to keep track of His unending goodness and the love as expressed in His plan for us.

God made time for us, and He rules over its whole course. God has exerted His power and wisdom both in time and space and, therefore, has an undisputed claim to reign supreme over each realm. God’s Supreme Control is to be observed chiefly in the events of time.

As Christians, therefore, understanding this important truth should lead us into a life that is free from worries. Knowing fully well that God has everything under His care and control, we ought not to fret as we wait for Him to fulfil His promises. On the other hand, we must ensure that we align with Him and His plan for our lives. Timely sowing, weeding and active waiting precedes abundant harvest.

So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
