By seeking Him with all our heart, we make Him our top priority and put ourselves in a position to receive His guidance and blessings. “When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you…” (NET).
This should be our lifestyle. Seeking God is not a one-time event but a continuous process that requires a lifelong commitment. It means surrendering our plans and desires to Him and allowing Him to lead us in the direction He has for us.
Also, in seeking the Lord, we must acknowledge Him “as a vital necessity”; He cannot be optional for anyone that would be saved from the dominion of sin and from the power of hell. We must ascribe unto Him the glory that is due Him. Likewise, if you would find Him, you must seek Him with all your heart. With all that you are and have, withholding nothing, you must give your all to seeking the Master.
