If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,
Job 8:5 NKJV
God’s ability to answer our prayers or help us grow in Him is unquestionable. The real issue, however, lies in whether we are willing to earnestly seek Him. God has always desired for us to seek Him wholeheartedly—through prayer, study of His Word, and by every means available to strengthen our spiritual lives. He wants us to grow in character and reflect the image of Jesus in our daily walk.
When we pray, God is faithful to respond, equipping us with His Spirit to live rightly. But the question is not if He will answer. Rather, it is if we are ready to fulfil the conditions He requires. Seeking the Lord with sincerity is essential because without it, there is no path to receiving answers to the desires of our hearts. Jesus himself assured us in Matthew 7 that those who seek will find. However, if we fail to seek God, we lose the chance to truly know Him and experience His presence. The absence of seeking leads to an absence of understanding.
Furthermore, God desires us to take up the act of seeking Him with determination and faith. Although He is not hidden from us, it is in our seeking that we develop a deeper understanding of who He is. Therefore, let us bring our needs and desires before the Almighty, knowing that He is abundantly able to hear and respond. He can meet every need, provide answers to our deepest questions, and protect us from stumbling on our spiritual journey.
As we commit to earnestly seeking Him, we will gain clarity and direction for every step we take in life. The journey of seeking God is not only about receiving answers. It is also about gaining guidance and wisdom for the Christian life. Now is the time to make seeking God our priority. Through prayer, supplication, and a commitment to studying His Word, we will find the answers we long for and the strength we need to follow Him.
Let us seek the Lord wholeheartedly. For He is faithful and abundantly able to meet us where we are and guide us forward.
